<div style="text-align: justify;">L'<em>Almanach de Provence</em> est publié de 1856 à 1876 par Alexandre Gueidon (1819-1876), libraire-éditeur à Marseille, par ailleurs fondateur et directeur des recueils <em>L'Athénée ouvrier</em> (1846), <em>L'Athénée de Provence</em> (1855) et <em>Le Plutarque provençal</em> (1855).<br /><br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">Chaque volume contient des articles d'histoire locale, des biographies, des éphémérides, des poésies françaises et provençales. <br /><br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">La publication cessera de paraître à la mort d'A. Gueidon en 1876.</div>
