<div>Enregistrement des élèves de l'École de Thédirac et de Gourdon <strong><br /><br />La lenga dels ausèls<br /></strong><br />De toutes les bêtes qui côtoient l’humain, les oiseaux sont sûrement ceux dont la parole est la plus prolixe.<br /><br />L’occitan a créé une multitude de mimologismes d’oiseaux, ces mots qui imitent un son et en particulier leur chant (lyu lyu, cascarasca...).<br /><br />Savoir les imiter (<em>degaunhar</em>) est un signe d’adresse en même temps qu’une façon de les attirer pour les contempler, bavarder avec eux ou bien les chasser (les chasseurs utilisent des appeaux taillés dans le bois). Ces chants démontrent que les anciens possédaient une solide connaissance de la nature et savaient s’adapter à ses lois.<br /><br />[<i>Atlas sonore bourian</i>, p. 26]</div>
